How to Make CLOTH DIAPER LAUNDRY POWDER

Congratulations on starting your cloth diaper journey! I promise, it is not as hard as it looks & you will be so happy you did it once you do.

It’s important to remember that every baby is different. This laundry powder was designed to give you the most effective clean so that your cloth diapers last you a long time. If you are not comfortable using a certain ingredient, try to research & find an alternative you feel more comfortable with. Although I will give you some alternatives below when I can. I also want to note that in the case of using cloth diapers its important to use detergents & soaps that will actually REMOVE the feces & urine from your babies diapers so that you’re not introducing their sensitive skin to pee & poo. It’s better to have a properly clean diaper rather than a half clean one because you want to stick to a super all natural cleaner that doesn’t get the job done.

This recipe only requires 3 ingredients. We do not recommend you add essential oils to this mixture as it’s been recommended babies not be introduced to essential oils until they are over the age of 2.

Oxiclean: oxiclean has gotten a bad rap in the non toxic community. But it is simply; sodium per-carbonate, sodium carbonate, & surfactants that help breakdown stains. We do not recommend you to try & swap this ingredient out.

Washing Soda: sodium carbonate aka baked baking soda

Borax: boron, sodium & oxygen. If you don’t feel comfortable using this, please consider using white vinegar powder. If you have hard water, you might not see as great of results using white vinegar powder, though
